
Just Because It's Winter Does Not Mean it's Time to Hang up your Helmet
Winter may be approaching or, indeed in some parts of the country, have you buried already under feet of snow, but that's no reason to just sit inside playing Gran Turismo 5 while pining for the spring thaw.
There are quite a few organizations that will provide some organized winter driving fun, from straight instruction to some form of competition and everything in between. For example I just received a notice in the mail that a North East organization, SCDA, will be hosting two "Winter High Perfomance Driving" clinics at New Hampshire Motor Speedway.
I'm sure there are plenty more all around the country so mount those snow tires and dust off the helmet and go have some nice hooligan fun. I did so myself a couple of winters back with my old station wagon when the Monticello Motor Club hosted a snow day:
